Little Brims | Specialty hats for little boys |

What inspired you to make a lifestyle change, start a movement or create a business?

I ‘ve been wearing hats for as long as I can remember. My mother and father tell stories of putting hats on me as soon as I was born. It became apart of my outfit and I would even cry if I didn’t have one. 7 years ago and even now it’s hard to find a wide selection of children’s hats in one place. So, I wanted a place where children could find a hat for all occasions, and not just a baseball cap but a hat that would dress up their outfit..

Tell us what gives you the most joy working with nature?

It’s my responsibility to give back and preserve the earth for my future and the generations after me. Knowing that I am a part of that make me happy.

How has your change impacted you and/or others?

For me, it has made me understand that if you want something it requires real work. For other people I get a chance to see kids smile. My hats make them happy. Every year during Christmas I donate hats to the Texas Children’s Cancer center here in Houston. It doesn’t replace the pain there in but to see that smile when they put on one of my hats is priceless.

How did you come up with the name for your business/products?

When I was younger people would stop me and compliment me on my hat. They would call it a brim because my hats were not normal hats that you see kids wear, they were brim hats. So calling my store little brims was natural. Hats for little people.

What does your product represent about you?

My hats are a reflection of me, my personal style and tastes. I get a sense of pride when I wear them and I hope everyone that wears them feels the same way.

What was your background before starting your natural hobby or business? Tell us about you!

Just being a kid and I had a small candy machine business.

Tell us where we can find your products?

Currently online at Stayed tuned for my storefront.

Have the lifestyle changes that you made include your family? If so, tell us about them!

Well because I am only seven a lot of the logistics of the business are handle by my parents. We are a family of hat lovers and wear them proudly.

What is your favorite quote that reflects you or how you live your life?

“It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” Frederick Douglass My parents remind me of this constantly.

Is there anything else that you want to add?

Don’t ever let your age stop you from doing anything. I might be little but I have a big heart and I dream big. Really big!
